This will enable me to create new merch, post blogs, keep a Damn Straight column at this location, as well as make the site a bit more user friendly with a totally different look! Expect this to happen in the coming months. What does this mean for the Freaklabel & Revolt 42 stores? Nothing! They will have their own urls that will allow them to be linked to their official web pages. This DOES me an that there will be sales on discontinued clothing coming down the pipe! 07/29/08 Personal update...and some business news...
I pretty much never post about my personal life and what is going on but over the last year many things have changed and I thought I would get everyone updated.
I am currently enjoying the struggle of starting over from scratch, taking the reigns of life. It is nice to have the fight again, that desire to get things done.
I am just as busy as ever, nothing has changed there, only the priorities. I am now doing my best to shift gears from knowing only one thing (work) to gaining lost time with my family. I realize that in the last 10 years I have left a disaster in my wake and it is important to make sure the people that matter know they matter endlessly. This change comes about due to the meeting of my best friend, my business partner, my muse, and my soul mate, Michelle (I am sure most of you have noticed her photos around). It took me a while to realize that dreams are an amazing thing when acheived, but Michelle has taught me that it is much more amazing when you have someone to share those dreams with; she has also taught me that I still have much to learn about life. I could talk endlessly about her influence and her amazingly beautiful qualities, but I will leave that to those who get to witness it in person. My description could never do her justice.
If you haven't noticed, the books are still selling well, thanks to everyone for their support! After some time away, Provoke Productions (www.provoke-productions.com) has now resurfaced and the marketing has again begun, and there are also a few new projects on the table. Vital Impulse is nearing launch--the Vital Impulse website, myspace, and much more information are coming soon. As far as writing goes, I have a book finished and ready to roll, the final edits should be made in the coming months. The front and back cover are being done in pieces right now starting with concepts and so on. This will be part one of an ongoing project that will surface every few years. TRUTH IS....you will see soon enough...and this is only VOL. 1.
The Damn Straight advice is also still alive, just not as active as it has been in the past. Coburn is planning to release some new writing before the end of the year along with a few other projects due to launch soon. Upon the encouragement of many of my readers and colleagues I have decided to undertake yet another writing project. I am currently requesting anonymous questions on any subject, Dear Abbey style. Rest assured that this is not going to be any sort of shallow, under investigated, load of bullshit Dear Abbey column.
I am a man of strong words and opinion so be sure you will get a straight, honest, and unedited answer, at length. I will not be giving lectures here, just calling it as I see it.

Welcome to the new and improved Provoke Productions. Lots has changed over the last year or so. There are quite a few new t-shirt designs available. Provoke Productions has also joined forces with Revolt 42. Revolt 42 specializes in color designs related to the comical and much less serious.
